Re: WiFi Calling now released??

I've been on Vodafone for 10 months. Works well where I go and, most importantly, at home where EE is rubbish

Re: WiFi Calling now released??

You can now get WiFi Calling on iOS as long as you've update to 13.4 with the latest carrier settings.

Re: WiFi Calling now released??

Great thanks.

Are the SIM-Only plans subject to the Flexible Plan whereby you can change your tariff?

You can change tariff, but if your original purchased tariff had a promotion - extra data or a money discount ect. you would lose the promotions by changing tariff. Also limited to the family of tariffs which were in same family at time of purchase.

Re: WiFi Calling now released??

What do you mean “family of tariffs” sorry?

I’m looking at the SIM-Only tariffs.

Re: WiFi Calling now released??

So there are currently a set of SIM only deals available on the website. These will be all related to one another so are a 'family' of plans on the billing system and will show up as plans you can move to within your online account.

When Virgin Mobile change their mobile plans, they will be set as a different 'family' of plans on the account, so you may not see them as options to move to within your online account.

Re: WiFi Calling now released??

A little hard to explain, but I'll try 🙂

If you purchase a SIM-ONLY today, the other choices you can see/buy today (minus the promotions) are the family choices you would have for your contract.

When your 12 month contract has passed, you can purchase any newer plans advertised (with promotions), as long as you recontract for another 12 months.

Re: WiFi Calling now released??

I think I get it - thanks.

So how does one move to a different plan when they need to?
Do you have to call up or is it done online and is a "seamless" move?

Re: WiFi Calling now released??

If you move within your existing set of options you can do it on the website yourself

If there is a newer SIM plan you'd want to move to you'd have to speak to Customer Services to see if it's something they can do for you.
