WiFi Calling busy tone

When calling out to landline numbers using WiFi Calling, I seem to encounter a (US-style?) network busy tone, before the phone automatically hangs up, yet I can dial the same number fine over regular mobile signal (except that my mobile reception is poor). Is there anyway of resolving this issue?

Re: WiFi Calling busy tone

HI sammyred8, thanks for messaging us and we are sorry to hear that you are having issues with the WiFi calling, can you confirm if you are still having this issue? Can you try a network search to see if anything changes? ^Chris

Re: WiFi Calling busy tone

Hi Chris, I am still having this problem, but having tried some other numbers it only seems to occur when calling one particular number. It's an 0300 number, I'm not sure if that makes any difference?

Re: WiFi Calling busy tone

If this is only happening when calling one particular number they may have restricted this on their side, have you been able to check this?

Are you able to call this number without the use of WiFi calling? If possible to check.

Let us know, Emily.
