Wi-Fi Calling

So after almost a month of 9/10 calls dropping, the caller hearing beep beep beep and me getting a missed call notification, it's been drilled down to Wi-Fi calling not working across the Virgin Mobile network.

Lady in tech support stated that Wi-Fi calling has not been working since August.

Can someone else vouch for this or is just more Customer Service waffle?

Re: Wi-Fi Calling

Well some people appear to be having problems but I don't think it is universal and I've never seen an answer

Re: Wi-Fi Calling

Always worked for me since it was switched on earlier this year. I can test this by locking my mobile to 4g and making a call to an 0800 number I know that has an automated message on it.

Using an app like network cell info on android I can see that it stays on 4g while the call works.

Without WiFi calling the call would fail as 4g doesn't work for calls on Virgin.

There's still the issue with it having a limited number of popular recent phone models though.
