Why is my new sim not working?

 I received and installed my new sim card five days ago, but have since been unable to send any messages. I'm finding it impossible to connect with anyone from Virgin to discuss this.I prefer to use Pay As You Go,and do not intend to change this. Any advice please?

I'm very sorry to hear about this. What I will do is private message you so we can check over the SIM card.
