Why have I not been sent a new sim?

My husband has been sent a new sim card, but I have not. We signed up to Virgin Mobile on the same day and have identical accounts, but we do have different phones and I did have to get a new sim a year ago when I needed a different size for a new phone. 

Are some people not getting new sim cards? Could it be because the sim card I got a year ago is already one of the new kind? Is the issuing of new sims being staggered and my number hasn't yet come up? Or have I just been overlooked? If the latter, am I in danger of my old sim just stopping working in a few weeks?

Hello

If you have already got the new purple SIM then there is no need to get a replacement. The replacement program has been staggered, currently there has been no news of when the old SIMs will be turned off, you will be notified when they are.

You would have got the new type SIM when you swapped card sizes
