For the past few weeks or so, I have been unable to access the website open.ac.uk when using 4G.
When I get home and connect to this website via WiFi it works.
I can access every other website using my 4G Virgin Mobile but not the website I mentioned above.
It used to work in the past, but not now. I ways get the error message:
"This page isn’t working
www.open.ac.uk didn't send any data."
The university have said that for the last month or so, ISPs were having trouble connecting, but they claim this is fixed now. But it is not for me.
My parent content block service is off and I have asked friends on different networks to access the website and they can fine.
Has Virgin Media blocked this website by accident?
Thanks for the post Magikguy.
Have you been able to manually refresh the network settings on your handset to push through any fixes?
I've done everything and anything.
Been chatting to your support team and nothing works:
Update phone software,
Check parental content is off,
Try sim card in another phone,
Send text message to get configuration settings again,
Try different browsers,
Speak to the company directly (they have confirmed it is not an issue their side, but something your side with DNS settings),
Clear cache and browser data,
Still the same issue!
Sorry to hear this, I'll pop you over a private message so we can look into this further.
When should I expect to receive a message from you?
