Hi - Does anyone have a SIM FREE Samsung Note 10 Plus Phone with WIFI Calling Option Visible?
I have the Latest Purple SIM and Latest Software Update installed but still no WIFI Calling Option. The Note 10 Plus was purchased SIM FREE from the Samsung Website. Virgin cannot guarantee that WIFI will work on Non VM Handsets which is not impressive.
Not quite sure what to suggest. When my S10, which was also bought SIM free from Samsung, got the update to enable WiFi Calling it switched itself on when the update finished installing along with the confirmation text message.
Although Virgin Media work with Samsung and Apple to get the support for their WiFi Calling added to the device, it is Samsung themselves that add it to the firmware as far as I understand it, and they retain control how it works on their devices.
If you're sure that you had the SIM issued since December 2017, I'm not sure where to go. It might be resolved by a device reset but that's a big step to do to fix it.
I'd maybe first see what Samsung themselves say

OK Thanks guys - The WIFI Calling option did appear after a day or so - The option is in the dialler and not the connection settings as stated in Virgin Help pages however it does not seem to be working. I did not get any confirmation text and WIFI Calling does not appear to be working. How am I able to check if it is on. I read somewhere that there is a WIFI calling symbol displayed somewhere. Also when you make a call over WIFI it says so on the telephone. Is there any way I can check? Thanks in Advance.
