Virgin mobile sim not working

Hi, I have a samsung s8 phone that I have had for nearly 3 years without an issue but over the past 2 days it is not recognising the sim card saying i have emergency calls only. I have tried cleaning it, restarting and leaving it off to reset itself and nothing works. I cant seem to get in touch with anyone at virgin cause I cant make calls. I live alone with no old phones that take this sim so I cant test it elsewhere. Any help would be great

I am sorry to hear that you have had some issues with your mobile. 

 

As your post was a few days ago now, have you managed to speak with anyone regarding this?

Thank you Zak. I managed to borrow someone else's phone and call the support team who have checked everything and are now sending out a new sim card. I still cant make or receive calls until I receive the sim but it should be sorted soon.
