Virgin mobile app stopped after transferred number

Virgin mobile app has stopped working since I transferred my old phone number. I uninstalled the app and installed again, worked few seconds (showed the virgin number befor the PAC transfer) then stopped again

I am very sorry to hear you have been experiencing problems with the Virgin Mobile app.  

 

Are you able to confirm the following for me?

 

What device are you using?

Has the device been updated to the latest software?

Which version of the app are you running please?

Thanks Nat,

 

I have managed to solve the problem my self after spending 2 hours with virgin support text service.. 

The solution was as follows:

1, opened the app,

2, click on the three dots (menu) on the top right hand of the app

3, select account then log out

4,force stop the app

5, opene it again.

Solved.

But what I need help with now is how do I change my profile Id above, I mistakenly put my phone number not realizing this would be public on the virgin community.

To change your profile name, select it on the top right of the page and you should see the option to 'Edit Profile'

I have tried that, there is no option to change the ID , it only allows to change the password

I have exactly the same problem you described. Apps stopped working once my old number ported across. I’ve tried what you suggest and still have issues. 

Anyone have any suggestions? Seems another example of Virgin over complicating things by attempting to provide functionality that’s flakey
