When I joined virgin mobile 2 years ago I wax given a £15 lifetime discount when I purchased my Huawei p30 pro which brought my bill down to £31 from £46 I was delighted so much so that I encouraged my daughter to join virgin mobile which she did. I am now looking at upgrading my device back to an apple one but to my dismay my £15 LIFETIME discount I was told over the telephone could not be applied? I am also a virgin media customer. The apple iPhone 12 Pro max I was looking at was £49 for airtime plan plus device contract which I thought then I would be able to deduct the £15 LIFETIME discount, but apparently no!? Can anyone help/advise?
If you change contract the lifetime discount ends. It's the lifetime of the contract not the person's lifetime. I'm not sure about the contracts including phones, but there's plenty of sim only plans available with triple data 'lifetime' discounts.
