Thank you for your post and welcome to our community forums. We're here to help.
I'm very sorry to hear that you're having some issues with your handset. Did you purchase the handset directly from us, or from a third party? Can you also confirm what model of handset it is?
New around here? To find out more about the Community check out our Getting Started guide
Third Party, Auction House Government auction, Its a Samsung S20 Ultra.
Sorry to hear this is on going MikGreen, do you still have the number or reference of the ticket?
Think i was given a dummy number
Thanks MikGreen, that doesn't look to be a ticket number we would use.
I'm eager to get this looked into further for you, are you currently a Virgin Mobile customer or is just the handset from us?
How did you find out the handset had been blacklisted?
Im not currently a virgin costumer, but can confirm the carrier for the handset is virgin media.
I found out the handset got blacklisted from my work mobile provider i had been using the phone for 5 months.
i then got the checks done to make sure it wasnt stolen, lost or under insurance fraud.
I have proof of purchase and it was sold through a government auction house who guarantee it cannot be stolen or lost or the government angency would not have beeen able to sell it.
I can send you the imei privately if you can help
Interesting. Not sure how you worked out the carrier was Virgin Media as all Samsung phones of that period were standard unlocked phones with no additional carrier programing.
You say it was not lost or stolen and you are not on Virgin, so I'm trying to work out why Virgin would do such a thing unless they have been passed details of the phone from elsewhere
If it was not locked or stolen how it ended up in a Government auction unless it was surplus to requirements.
I'm a Very Insightful Person, I'm here to share knowledge, I don't work for Virgin Media. Learn more

the carrier is virgin surly someone can give me help?
Maybe it was done by mistake.
I have double checked this with our team and they have advised we wouldn't be able to unblacklist this handset. We would recommend contacting the company/auction you purchased this from.
I appreciate this isn't the response or answer you were hoping for.
