Hi, when I decided to move to Virgin Mobile I got my PAC code from 3 and all seemed fine. Then friends and family were asking why I had 2 numbers when messaging or calling.
I've looked through the help section on my account but nothing is helping me get an answer to this problem. It’s been over a month now and it’s still happening so not just a teething problem with the PAC.
If you have an iPhone this is due to the way that iMessage works is that it doesn't automatically update the change of phone number dynamically, so to resolve this what you have to do is - 1) Logout of your Apple ID. 2) Turn off the phone and then back on. 3) Sign back into your Apple ID. This will force the change of phone number with iMessage and will resolve your problem. Regards Mike
