Unauthorised data usage

Every day someone is using data against my number. I am NOT using this number for data.
How do I stop this unauthorised use of my data?

Thanks for confirming your correct details for me and joining me in a private message

 

It shouldn't be possible for somebody else to your data as it would only be assigned to your sim card. I have looked into your account and can see that the data has been used on our billing system.

 

Have you used any data at all from your sim card? If so, please can you confirm when you have used it?

 

Is your data always turned off or is it left on on your handset?

The phone is used for calls only or via internal wifi connection.
The phone is NEVER used for data connections.
I have another phone also 07981 744003 on the same account and that is OK.
I received a text message today at 10:40 local time on 07305 180953 asking me if I want to increase by data allowance for an extra £9 per month.
Someone is obviously using data somehow? But its not me.

Most phones allow you to look at total data usage and also usage app by app. There may well be a rogue app using background data.

Before looking make sure that mobile data is turned to off in your settings
