Thanks for picking this up. I am still having problems.
After this post, I made a separate post on Thursday 23 December headed PUK blocked to ask what this meant because I had been checking the settings on my phone.
I have found that I cannot autoselect a network. I cannot even manually select a network.
When I delve a bit deeper my phone shows that SIM1 virgin is PUK blocked.
I thought PUK blocking happened when a pin number was input incorrectly but I have had no reason to enter my PIN number since I received a new Energizer E12 phone from Virgin in September after experiencing issues with the rollout of new SIMs.
I have not been able to make/receive calls/texts since Wednesday 23 December when I first noticed a problem with my phone. The last text I received in and made was on 9 December.
Why is my PUK blocked? I haven’t done anything to warrant this block.
Is the SIM faulty?
Is there a problem with the phone masts?
Is it something to do with transition from EE to Vodafone network?
I am on PAYG.
I have credit.
There is no phone signal.
Any assistance to resolve this will be gratefully received. Thank you.
