Unable to add Oomph Sim to my Virgin Mobile account

I have received my Oomph Sim and tried to add this number to my Virgin Mobile account so I can keep all numbers in one place to check usage.

I've entered the number and it gives me the following: Sorry, you can only add new Pay As You Go numbers to Your Account.

Can you help with this please?

Good Afternoon MIKE24WF,

 

Thanks for your post on our Community Forums 

 

Unfortunately we wouldn't be able to add the Oomph SIM card to an existing mobile account as they have been issued with their own dedicated account number that start with the reference FA

 

You would be able to add further newly created SIM cards to an FA account but once this has been created it cannot be removed or altered from the SIM card

Thanks for coming back to us MIKE24WF, 

 

You can access your usage by creating a new online account using a different email address to the one you are currently using.

 

This will be the only way to see your usage with your new sim.

Hi,

Tried that but after it has verified the number it says the following:

To verify your account, please enter your password. This is a series of numbers and letters, that you created over the phone when your account was set up.

Security question
Mother's maiden name
 
I never provided any password details when upgrading to the Oomph package. Plus why would I add numbers to my Mothers maiden name, I dont even recall giving this name.
