Unable to activate call waiting

I am in able to turn on my call waiting. It just keeps saying unexpected response from network operator.

Virgin's system does not allow the user (via phone settings) to turn Call Waiting on or off.

Best bet is to hang on here for a response from staff, who should offer to turn on/reset Call Waiting for you, restart your phone once you know they have done it.

Thank you for your post and welcome to the forums. 

 

As teabag has kindly advised above, this is not something that can be done by your handset. What I am able to though is give the network side a little tweak, hopefully that will then resolve the issue for you 🙂 What I will do is send you a private message so I can do this for you 🙂

Hi,

I am having the same issue. My call waiting is not working. when I put this sim in another handset it dose not work. I also tried putting another virgin sim in my handset and it works fine. My call waiting is switched on. It dose not make any difference when voicemail is switched on or off.

I tried to speak to customer services but they cannot help it.

Please if you can help me out than it will be great.
