I have sent a text to 70710 with the word 'twenty' which is a BBC Children In Need number for donations. I have only been charged the 15p network charge and not the £20 which should go to this charity.
My wife is on a different network and has done the same and received acknowledgement that her £20 has been donated.
Can you advise if there is a problem with Virgin Mobile connecting to Children In Need please?

Thanks for posting and welcome to the community.
Sorry to hear of this issue. What it could be for example, is if you have a spend cap lower than the £20, it won't go through as it can't do.
Can you check this for me?

My data cap is £10 - is that what is preventing it going through?
If I increase it and text again will I be charged for the premium text again?

Increasing the spend cap would allow you to send the text StevieG08, once sent and any bills have been cleared you can then reduce it back down again.
