Texts sent to me not being received

On 31st May I signed up for a new SIM only deal which is due to kick in on my refresh date of 19th June. However, since signing up I have been unable to receive texts. I send them and people reply but the aren't getting through to me. Mobile data and calls are working. Just not receiving texts.

Any ideas?

Very Long standing problem on Virgin (over a year) . Usually happens when WiFi Calling and VoLTE is turned on.

As you have only been on Virgin for a short time you may consider cancelling under 14 days
