Text scam?

I just got a text message from +447961696233 saying:

Virgin Mobile: We’ve been unable to process your latest bill for this month. To avoid fees, please update your information via: virgin-overdue.com

I can’t quite tell if this is real or if it’s a scam, but that website doesn’t look right to me. Anyone?

Re: Text scam?

It's a scam.  If you search on any WHOIS database service you'll find its a Panama (ie crooked) registration, using an intermediary called Whoisguard that exist largely to hide the identities of the unworthy, and registered via a domain name registrar called Namecheap Inc.

Crooks through and through.,

Re: Text scam?

No proper company would text or email out of the blue with a link asking for your private info and bank details.

With Virgin, if your Direct Debit or a payment has failed, they would cut off your services and expect you to contact them.
