Just a follow up on the issues you are having. When I was on Virgin I used to have a 12 hour lag when it came to receiving texts via Wifi calling. Virgin fail to admit they have an issue so I ended up leaving them.
If you have signal where you live, it’s probably best disabling WiFi calling. If you rely on it for a service (like I did) it may be worth considering a switch to a different provider when your contract comes to an end.
