Text UK to USA

I have a Virgin pay monthly plan in the UK. Can I text from UK to a USA mobile? I can’t see the USA in the list of countries which can be texted, but seems strange that it wouldn’t be possible?

We're sorry to hear you're having trouble finding details about texting USA numbers from within the UK. You are able to text and call however it won't be included in your plan. You can view more about the charges here.
