Switching to Virgin mobile

I've told EE I'm leaving on ,1st July when my contract runs out and need a PAC number. They said ring back for it about the 28th of June but they doesn't leave me much time to order my SIM from Virgin so can I order one now as our post isn't great but give my PAC at a later date when I'm ready to switch and start a new contract?

Re: Switching to Virgin mobile

You can PAC in at anytime. So not a problem

Just to mention your new SIM will run on O2 so you might want to check coverage

Re: Switching to Virgin mobile

Hey @SHRIMPERPETER, thanks for the post.

When you leave EE, you can request a PAC code off them, which we will then put in our systems and transfer over the mobile number. This can be done anytime, when taking out a new SIM or even months later, should you wish to retain your old number. The PAC however will expire 30 days after it's been issued.

So whenever you'd like to, get the PAC code of EE, and when placing an order with Virgin Media you can even give it to agent who will be able to get it transferred over for you.

Thank you, let us know if you have anymore questions - happy to assist 🙂
