Switching from virgin to O2 sim

2 weeks ago we upgraded our Virgin tv/phone/broadband package (ultimate oomph volt bundle) This included changing from a virgin mobile sim to a £25 O2 unlimited mobile contract. However we still have not received the new SIM card for O2 and my current virgin mobile sim will expire this week. I have a PAC code to port the number across but am worried as no sim has arrived. When I spoke to O2 they were not able to help without the sim. Please can you advise?

The thing is, was it ever ordered? O2 are pretty efficient and it looks like this may be the case

I have a direct number for thier sales line they may be able to check

I don't think this is correct. When I. Did exactly the same thing as the OP the o2 sim was ordered by the virgin media advisor whilst i was on the phone.  Had an email last night saying sim was dispatched.

Volt O2 SIM's would be dispatched by O2 as a separate account would be opened with them directly.

Thanks for all your suggestions everyone. Called O2 today on the number above and they are sending out a new sim so hopefully this will all be resolved this week. Interestingly the chap from O2 I spoke to said this happens quite often and he thought virgin were meant to send out the O2 sim?!
