Switched from Oomph to Volt - Mobile SIM/PAC question VM to 02

T_UKVM
Tuning in

I cancelled the Oomph package as it was coming to an end of the minimum period and didnt want to pay the new larger amount. I did this and my contract was due to end in the 30 days.

I asked for my PAC code online so as to take elsewhere as wanted to keep the number

A couple of days later someone called and offered me a deal to stay, so I was happy enough to do, paying close to what I currently was but the package was split into VM for TV/BB/Landline and separate was an O2 Mobile Sim contract now. It is called Volt apparenlty.

O2 send the SIM card and the rest of TV/BB/LL seems to have stayed the same so all good, apart from the mobile telephone Number.

It is a new O2 Number with the SIM. I have activated using the SWAP 20220 and it seems to be working ok.

I thought that VM would do the Swap of the VM mobile phone number over because the person who I did the deal with said she was generating a PAC code...although I had already done that as thought I was leaving.

My question:

DI I supply O2 with the PAC Code generated by myself...
has the person at VM done this already
or have they generated another PAC code i dont know about?

thanks in advance for any help.

Cheers
T

Hi T_UKVM,

Thanks for your post and apologies about any confusion regarding the new O2 SIM and your existing VM one.

In order to help and advise correctly, I will need to check what's been done on your Mobile account. TO do this I will need to confirm some information with you so I have sent you a private message regarding this.
