Soft lock prevents changing plan?

Hello,

I logged into my mobile account today to look at switching my plan.. I've seen one on a comparison site for half of what I'm currently paying that has more minutes.

Message pops up that the account is soft locked. After a quick search on here it's apparently due to being migraed to O2.

How do I find out how long this migration will take? And how do I change my plan?

I'm going abroad shortly and will need to turn on roaming by again a quick search here shows people having problems due to the Soft lock.
