Since switching from Vodafone a few weeks ago I have been experiencing ridiculously slow mobile data speeds, to the extent that it is not currently worth having a monthly allowance
I was with Vodafone for 25yrs and generally happy with coverage and 4g. I assumed, wrongly, that virgin would be on par but currently feel frustrated and thoroughly disappointed

Hi,
yes I’ve tried all of that and the issue arises in all locations
my son is on virgin too, has been for a couple of years and his coverage is perfect
no idea what the o2 issue is, but if it’s a known problem what is being done to sort it?

Have you taken a look at the O2 Coverage Checker to see what your coverage is like in your location? Are there any issues listed?
What happens when you try to use your data services? Do you see any errors at all? Let us know so we can help.

Hi, the o2 coverage checker says that my area is band A, but the connection to 4g is intermittent so that connection to services dips in and out and is extremely slow to refresh or load up
i experienced the same issue in Dorset and at my partners house, there is something working but I don’t know what it is

I'm sorry to hear that this issue is ongoing. Have you tried to reboot your Mobile phone to see if this can help?
Have you tried to put your SIM card into a different phone to see if the same issue occurs? Let us know.
