Sim swap need help please

Hi, please can someone from Virgin help- I’ve tried getting in touch in a lot of ways! I requested a sim swap (need to put a new updated one in) and I thought you'd be able to pick a date but it selected tomorrow and I really need it from Saturday onwards as I am away on holiday at the minute with no Wi-Fi so can't back up my phone until I'm home. Please can you delay the sim swap? I'm worrying! Thanks Helen

 

to others: when I put the new updated sim card in it won’t delete my photos or contacts will it? I’ve been putting it off as I’m stressing!

Thanks for your post and welcome to our community. 

Really sorry that there has been an issue with your SIM swap and for the delay in getting back in touch, we have been busier than usual. 

Has the SIM swapped over now? 

It won't impact your photos but there might be an issue with your contacts if they were saved to the SIM and not handset. 

Keep us posted with how things are at the moment.
