Sim stopped being recognised

My mobile phone sim has suddenly stopped working. I cannot make or recieve calls or send texts. How can Virgin media assist?

Can we please confirm if you've already removed the SIM and reinserted this? 

 

Can we also please confirm if you've tried restarting your device?
