Sim problem

Have had no phone since Tuesday my new sim has arrived but I have got a no seriously message have been on the phone for over 8 hours to try and get this fixed over the last few days. Was told yesterday day it would take 24hours to get it up and running this has come and gone and still no service.  Help

Just to clear it up here, is this a replacement SIM - if so, have you tried to activate it?
