I got a virgin mobile sim card as part of a bundle. I did not use it immediately as I was still in another contract. I however would like to use it now, but upon putting it into my phone it says sim not provisioned.
Has it become dormant due to it sitting unused and therefore do I need a new card or can this one be activated somehow?
Sorry to hear you've got a SIM not provisioned error when using your new SIM. Can I ask whether it's been over 30 days since you received it? I ask because the SIM must be activated within 30 days. Do let us know as we can check the SIM serial number and send a replacement if necessary.
I'm guessing gazza is in Australia, virgin has departed. I had an pre paid sim only used for 2FA authentication in a spare phone. I hadn't put any money on it for years. One day "poof". sim not provissioned, no more service.
