Sim not provisioned for voice

Hello everyone 

 

Today I received a replacement sim, as old one was damaged and stopped working. When I put new sim in my phone I am getting a message "SIM not provisioned for voice" but have full signal bars but in mobile data & nothing else. 

 

Although on the sim paper it was written it will start working in 10 mins but can take up to 24 Hours. 

 

Just wondering if anyone can help or had same issue before I ring Virgin.

Even after 24 hours it's still not working as mentioned in letter it can take upto 24hours.

 

I rang them from home phone, after waiting for over an hour, phone got disconnected. 

Now text from my wife's phone 30 mins ago, so far no luck. 

 

Can anyone help please?

Thanks for your post and sorry to hear that the replacement SIM has not worked. "SIM not provisioned for voice" does sound like it's not activated. I'll send a PM shortly so I can have a look at which might be occurring.
