Sim contacts

Recently installed new VM SIM card into existing iPhone SE (Mk1). All contacts listed/displayed as normal on phone but not displayed when receiving calls!!!! How can I copy my phone contacts to my new SIM card?

Re: Sim contacts

Hi Rico0753,

Thanks for your post and welcome to our community.

I'm sorry that you're having issues with the contacts since inserting a new SIM and for the delay in getting back to you.

Have you been able to get this sorted since your post?

The contacts in an iPhone would usually be stored to the phone itself within the cloud and your contact book.

When you're seeing an incoming call what is showing up? The number and no name or unknown caller?

Re: Sim contacts

Depends on the phone, but there's usually something in the contacts setting to say whether the phone, SIM or both should be active.  There may be an option in each contact to make the copy, or sometimes there's a "copy all".

Only speaking for older phones here though, smartphones may assume you're using some cloud service.

What phone do you have?

Re: Sim contacts

Sorry - I can see it's an iphone! In which case, may expect you to use Apple cloud services rather than the SIM.
