I have received a text saying I have been sent a sim card and I need to insert it otherwise I lose my number, however no sim has been sent.
Can someone help? I need this number I don't want to lose.

This might seem like a silly question, but have you changed address since being with Virgin?
Thanks for replying. No, I've lived at the same address for a longgggg time (longer than I've been with virgin mobile).
I don't actually know how virgin mobile have my address as I bought this payg sim from a corner shop. I guess they must do though otherwise why would they text me saying they've sent me a sim card?

I have re-sent the sim, It should take between 5 and 7 business days to get to you.

a bit of incorrect info there, It should be 24 -72 hours its with you not 5- 7 days.
