Sim card hasn't arrived

Hi,

My father received a text from Virgin on August 18th saying that he should have received a new sim from them recently, and he has 30 days to insert it to keep his services up and running. The sim hasn't arrived yet. He doesn't use the internet and I didn't find much help on the simhelp link. 

Could somebody help me please?
