Sim Update

I was sent a new SIM for my Nokia 2760 but I when I tried to use it I kept getting the message "start up phone without sim card? ".   I eventually managed to speak to somebody who told me ( quite matter of factly ) that my phone was not compatible with the new sim card as it needed to be put into a phone with 4G . Why was this not mentioned on the letter I received with my new card, it would have saved me hours of frustration?  I appreciate Virgin Media do not make a lot of money out of me with my old PAYG phone but I have been a loyal customer for 11 years and I feel I very let down.

Thanks for your post and I'm sorry to see that you feel let down by our customer services. 

 

We will be able to seek to have the handset unlocked for you to accommodate a 4G SIM card and I'd be happy to take this to PM to seek to resolve.
