Sim Not Valid - Help from VM please?

As many other users have experienced by elderly father has received a replacement Sim card but we have not been able to get the new Sim to work.

Error message Sim not Valid continually at each power on. Nokia 1112

Can a VM employee help via this forum as others have to get a working phone again for someone who needs this basic phone to work as intended to simply make phone calls.

Unfortunately it seems help from VM is as sporadic on the forums as it is trying to get through on the phone, lots of people posting on the forum of this issue but only some getting VM employee response despite requesting that you start a new thread with your individual query.

Perhaps a VM can get in touch and assist in sorting the Sim not Valid issue, no request on the phone for unlock codes or anything simply - sim not valid.
