Sim Failed - need replacement

I have no idea what "sim swap" is however that seems to be what I require. 

My sim for no reason I can fathom has completely stopped working. I tried re-seating it, cleaning it, in another handset to no avail. I tried a different sim in in my handset and that works flawlessly.

I take it I need a replacement - its worrying how it can just fail so easily.

How do I get a replacement. I am a sim only pay monthly customer.

Hi,

Yes thanks I received a replacement sim.

For everyone information - when I received the replacement sim - when I entered it into my phone the phone saw the sim was there  and threw up an error message Sim Not Provisioned   - no phone signal was available or date, just emergency calls only - it never asked for a PIN - after 14 hours I finally found out how to get it working - entered online virgin mobile account and went into my phone settings and hey presto there staring me in the face was a big button to press to activate sim !!!  would have been great to have been given this information with the sim rather than the instruction to wait on a PIN.
