Sim 1 unprovisioned

Hi, contacted Virgin Mobile at the weekend as I had received a new sim and was asked to replace old sim. Followed instructions and told that new sim cannot be used as it had expired. Operator informed me new one had been ordered. Yesterday, I have no network coverage, not able to make/receive calls or messages.  Message has appeared on notification screen saying 'sim 1 unprovisioned'. Tried switching off and on, but no joy. 

Any ideas?

Welcome to the forums and thank you for taking the time to post. 

 

I am sorry to hear that you have had some issues with getting your sim sorted out. 

 

Please could you try a manual network search and see if this resolves the issue?  If you let me know the make and model of your phone I can advise on how to do this.
