Over the last couple of months , we have noticed the signal strength on our mobiles has deteriorated.  Even in outlr home, we are lucky to get any signal.

Can anyone please explain why this has happened.

Hi @Mrsdring2010,

Thank you for coming back to us. Can you tell us if you've rebooted your mobile device to see if this can help?

Also, have you tried putting your SIM card into another handset to see if this can help resolve the issue?

Keep us updated so that we can help.

Thanks! 🙂

Most likely the change of network to O2

Check both of these

Hi Mrsdring2010,

Thank you for your post. We're sorry to hear about the issue with your signal strength.

Have you been able to check the links provided by enlli?

Can you confirm if when you leave the area the signal returns to normal?

^Martin

Hi,

Yes I have. The signal is very poor now in and around the area that I live it. It's hit and miss if it is going work.

It is really disappointing and concerning. If any of us would need to contact someone in an emergency. There is no guarantee we will be able to get through.

Regards

Kerry

Thanks for coming back to us Mrsdring2010, what did it show on the links that you checked?

Kind Regards,

Steven_L

It shows that there is work going on in the area and that signal should be restored on Thursday.

However, this has been going on for months and I've messaged now as I've had enough of not being able to have a telephone conversation without loosing connection.

Hi @Mrsdring2010 thanks for your reply.

It could be that the work ongoing is to help with this issue going forwards - please let me know if you need any further help once the work is complete!
Many thanks

I was advised to wait until today re poor signal.

I have checked the link and it shows work has been done, however I am lucky to get 1 bar if any.

Regards

Kerry
