Samsung phone has frozen

My Wife's Galaxy A3 has frozen on the wallpaper screen. Nothing else shows, just the pattern. Is there a way of reviving it?

Re: Samsung phone has frozen

Hello

Press and hold down the power button until the phone goes off, and then turn it back on normally.

Re: Samsung phone has frozen

Hi Mike,

No, that doesn't do anything. I have held down the power button for a long time with no response.

Hello

Oh then please try this -

  1. Press and hold the volume down button first and don’t let it go.
  2. Now, press and hold the power key while holding down the volume down button.
  3. Keep both keys held down together for 10 seconds or more.

This is a forced restart.

Re: Samsung phone has frozen

Hello

Glad that fixed it, stay safe and have a great day, well I just about remember before mobile phone and parents sending me out with football telling  me to come home when dark or when I am hungry LOL. It is always good to have a non digital day I do most days in the afternoon.
