SMS send failure

When sending text messages I get a send failed message, but the recipient says the same message has been sent  3 times, don’t know if my texts are getting through or not

Very sorry that you're having an issue sending text messages, this isn't what we like to hear. 


Can I ask if this happens everywhere? 

 

What handset make and model you're using?

Does it happen all the time? 

Are you able to try the SIM in another phone and see if it continues?

Seems to only happen at my home address, I only get 1 bar service at home, so perhaps that’s the issue. I have WiFi calling at home, does that not include text messages?

Can you confirm if you are a cable customer and subscribe to our broadband service?

Yes, get the same problem in another phone  - i don’t have cable and my broadband is provided by BT. This issue has only occurred since I changed providers from O2 to Virgin. The problem only happens at my home address where I only get 1 bar of service with Virgin but had 4 bars with O2
