SIP account set up and credentials needed for VIOP
Im using Google pixel 3A XL phone and virgin mobile support has confirmed this device isnt supported for Wi-Fi calling. This is needed as the network signal is really bad at my address . When checked with Google they suggested to set up a SIP account to make VOIP calls and need to get carrier provider to give details to set up one. anyone any idea if this option can still be considered? Im calling virgin customer care and they seem to not understand or help me with this this VOIP option set up. Thanks.
Re: SIP account set up and credentials needed for VIOP
The reason the support people have no ideas of what you are talking about is that Virginmedia do not do a VOIP setup at all, you will need to contact a VOIP provider https://www.amvia.co.uk/blog/list-of-voip-providers-uk most providers who offer VOIP will be a chargeable service. One thing to think about is that you will have two phone numbers one for the SIM card and one for the VOIP.
