SIM swap query

Me and my husband are abroad and will be for a while. We've got the new SIM cards in the post and asked a relative to activate them for us and bring them over in a week's time. However, he claims that the new SIM cards show as being active but our old ones are also still active. I've even received a message on my old SIM to say that I should expect data settings. Is this normal? How can I be sure that we won't lose our numbers? Please help! Mickey

Re: SIM swap query

Hi kerosssin,

Thanks for posting on our community page. Sorry for the late reply, and the issues with both the old and new sim cards  being active at the same time.

As you posted this query a short while ago have your old sim cards now stopped working for you?

Please can you let us know so we can assist you further with this?

Kind regards Jodi

Re: SIM swap query

Hi Jodi,

The old SIMs stopped working a day later, so I hope the new ones will be good to be used when we get them!

Cheers
