SIM migration - out of the country problem

I understand Virgin is migrating all SIMs, however, I am out of the country and will not be back any time too soon because of the pandemic. I understand my current SIM will be deactivated, but will it be a problem if I don't activate my new SIM for a few months?? I have been trying to contact Virgin but no luck, so would really appreciate any insight anyone can share!

Thanks for your post 

We dont have a maximum set time for news sims to be activated, but we do advise them to be done asap

If and when you are back in the UK, try to activate it, if that fails po back on here and we can issue a new sim
