SIM is not working

My SIM this morning is not working. It is not a new SIM or a new phone and it was working fine yesterday.

Unable to call or send a message to your help service as I have no service. The only thing available is internet chat which I’ve been logged onto for 30 minutes now with no response. 

I’ve done all the usual and turned my phone on and off, checked my settings etc. I’m just told from the app that the phone is not recognised and to call 798. I cannot call 798 because I have no service. I have not changed my phone. 

There is literally no way I can get help. Please help.

Virgin have been sending out new sims to people as they have been upgrading their network, there has been a warning that old sims will cease working.

Can you check on your mobile account that they have the correct address for you? 

A virgin rep here can help you get a new sim but chat may be quicker
