Mobile phone contract recently came to an end. Happy enough to keep phone, but was thinking about changing to a SIM only deal. Is there any disadvantage to having a SIM only plan, and also I was wondering if I did this would I keep the same mobile number and would my contacts, text messages etc be kept? Any advice/ clarification would be appreciated. Thank you

Hi there @FLETCH60
Thank you so much for your post and welcome back to the community forums, it's great to have you here.
To clarify, it will automatically roll over on a monthly basis so in effect SIMO. If your handset is paid off then it is just your SIM tariff that will taken from the direct debit.
If you want to change your SIM deal at all you can check on your My Virgin Mobile account or give our mobile team a call on 0345 600 0789.
Thank you.
