SIM Won't work

So, I've replaced my SIM 2 times now. I just used it 2 hours ago and I've just tried to send a message and my phone can't even recognize it. I've tried a Vodafone SIM in it and it worked perfectly... so If I have to keep replacing the SIM it's not really a consumer friendly practise and it's annoying no other company that I have been with has ever done this. I might even switch to another provider if this keeps up. I hope one of the Virgin Media staff can private message me to get this issue resolved.

Is your phone locked onto the Vodaphone network?

 

The phone and Vodaphone sim card seem to be working well, I would start my search for a resolution there

Issue has been fixed, I got a message on my phone and downloaded the things that were sent and now apparently it's enabled picture messages and data. Something weird is going on with this but it's fine now. If it ain't broke, don't fix it I guess.
