Roaming not recognised in France

Hello,

my daughter is in France and her phone won’t recognise a network. We have tried APN turn on and off and also manual network search.

from calling the only fix they could give us was using the ‘SIM application’ under mobile data in settings (iphone11) but this is not present on any of our phones. From looking through this forum this seems a common issue(O2 migration)  so how can we fix her capacity to see network on this phone ?

I am sorry to hear that the roaming is not working while in France and this is not the experience we want you to have. 

Can you confirm if the roaming was activated before she left the UK?

Has she received a welcome text when entering France?

Are the calls, texts and data inoperable?
