I am going to the Isle of Man on a motorbike in a couple of months time and need my phone to work , Last time there I didnt have access to my Virgin account via local networks . Can I please find a solution prior to travelling there

Well if they have moved you to O2 by then you should be OK. Also you have the bonus of it being included in EU roaming.

If you are still on Virgin, then good luck as the IOM problem has gone of for years.  With the impending closure of Virgin Mobile I doubt that there is any incentive to fix it.
