Roaming Charges from 21/12/2020

Ok, 13 days until the end of the transition period and no statement from Virgin. I am in Spain, caring for a relative for at least the next 6 months and have a Virgin sim. Have Virgin made an announcement as to whether they will be organising any reciprical agreements with EU countries to control or negate the possiblitity of a return to the BAD OLD DAYS of £40/day phone use post the brexit shenanigans?

Re: Roaming Charges from 21/12/2020

At the moment the UK networks are not proposing a change, but in reality it is not totally down to them. If a EU based networks decides to break the agreement they are technically allowed to do so. We could end up with patchy roaming where either a country or particular network is no longer available.

Your immediate problem is you are going to break the fair usage agreement which says you should not use your phone more in Europe than you did in the previous 4 months in the UK.
